Cornell’s eBird application provides the platform so you can keep track of species you see, record them in lists attached to a GPS site, share this list with others and help identify species and their behaviors as well.  It is an incredibly useful tool for birders of all levels to enhance their birding experiences while contributing to science and conservation. Join us for Beginner and Advanced learning courses.

South Sound Bird Alliance

(SSBA) is a chapter of the National Audubon Society (see NAS’ newly redesigned website). SSBA represents Lewis, Mason, and Thurston counties in the state of Washington. It is an all-volunteer-based, non-profit organization whose 1,300+ members share interests in birds and other wildlife, their habitats, and natural history. Our goals are to promote environmental education and recreation and to maintain and protect our ecosystems for future generations.

We also work with the state Audubon office (Audubon Washington)
