South Sound Bird Alliance will have a table on October 3 and 4 at Oysterfest, or The West Coast Oyster Shucking Championship and Washington State Seafood Festival. OysterFest is hosted by the Shelton Skookum Rotary Club in Shelton, WA. Entering its 45th year, this two day event attracts over 12,000 seafood enthusiasts and their families each year with activities, entertainment and delicious foods provided by local non-profits and volunteers. Held at Shelton’s airport Sanderson Field, there is a $15 entrance fee for adults. See the event website for a description of all the festival events.
