SUMMARY:Morning Bird Sit
DESCRIPTION:A Bird Sit is a mindful and bird-nerd practice involving sitting quietly for 45 minutes at sunrise to observe\, listen to\, and connect with local birds.  We will practice stillness\, slowing down to notice bird behavior and vocalizations\, and immersing ourselves in the dawn chorus.  This practice will foster relaxation\, deeper nature connection\, and increase your knowledge of bird language.  Bring warm and dry layers\, a folding chair or a dry cushion to sit on\, and a notepad if you’d like. \nThe Bird Sit begins at 5:00 am sharp at the Legacy Pavilion at Lake Sylvia State Park\, led by Park Ranger Stacy Munson. \nA Discover Pass is not needed for this event.
