South Sound Bird Alliance is expanding our activity level in Mason County. The Mason County Forest Festival 2026 is happening May 28th – May 31st (the above poster is from 2025). The Paul Bunyon Grand Parade will be Saturday, May 30th, in Shelton, and SSBA wants to be there. We envision members (children included) marching in bird costumes, handing out some type of bird seed packets, and maybe even strutting our stuff by doing the Chicken Dance. What could be more fun!! We need folks who have who a sense of adventure and a little creative bent for the creation of our costumes.
