OUR NEW INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT
Changing our name from Black Hills Audubon Society to South Sound Bird Alliance meant that we needed to start a new Instagram account to reflect the change. If you were previously following Black Hills 352, we invite you to follow southsoundbirds now. We also have a new administrator, Drew Walker, some of whose photos are shown above. We welcome our photographer members to submit their bird photos for Drew to assess and post as appropriate. He will need the name of the species in the photo as well as the location where the photo was taken. Drew can offer guidance for how to best prepare your image for the Instagram format. With this new account, we have decided to retire the photo gallery on our website. Social media platforms are now the norm for sharing images. Thank you to all our photographers who have been or will be involved. Bird photos are enjoyed by so many folks, especially those of us who are unable to travel much or don’t have photography skills.
